Complete List of Lounges at KLIA T1 and T2

So, you’re at Kuala Lumpur International Airport—either in Terminal 1, also called KLIA Main, or the newer KLIA2—both bustling gates to Malaysia’s skies.

KLIA T1 houses both the Main Terminal Building and a Satellite Building, split by a runway and connected by the Aerotrain.

KLIA2 is its own separate terminal (opened in 2014 for low-cost carriers) about 2 km away, not airside-connected to T1.

Let’s walk you through every lounge option—where they are, what they offer, how to access them, and little insider tidbits that come in handy when you're jet-lagged, bored, or just daydreaming.

  • Feel like a bit of a treasure hunt?
The Sphere Lounge is unique but hidden—located through an air bridge and a food court via the Sama-Sama Hotel. “Not easy to find…but a decent little lounge” with tapas and beer.

  • Flying with a family?
Golden Lounge is huge, has play and nap zones, and diverse food offerings—great for keeping kids entertained and parents relaxed.

  • Stuck in KLIA2 late at night?
The Plaza Premium Lounge is your 24-hour oasis beyond immigration when shops and restaurants are closed.

  • Need to rest, game, or just zone out?
Travel Club has VR golf and a casual vibe, while Plaza Premium First gives you peaceful elegance. Choose based on your mood.
